- FAQ -

Q: How much is a badge for the event?A: Current badge rates can be found on the website FAQ-Q: Do I need to get a room to come to the the event?A: You do not NEED to have a hotel room in order to participate in the event. However, we highly recommend getting a room or sharing a room with others as we will not have a fursuit changing room and its safer to not be on the roads late at night on New Years.-Q: Do I need to be a certain age for the event alone?A: Yes, 18 years old. If you are under that age you must have a parent or guardian present.-Q: I'm under the age of 18 does my parent or guardian still have to pay/attend for the event?A: Parents must pay full price for attendance, but children under the age of 18 will receive a KIT (Kid In Tow) badge at half price with their full priced accompanying adult.-Q: Will there be food and drink for the event?A: Yes we are providing snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. We are unfortunately unable to provide any hot food this year as per the rules of the new venue.-Q: Do we get a badge for the event?A: Yes you do!-Q: Will there be alcohol served at the event?A: We won't be serving alcohol at the event. However, the hotel does have a bar in the lobby if you are 21+.-Q: Can I drink alcohol at the event?A: There is no alcoholic drinking in the main event room as this is an all ages event. However there is a bar on the first floor that you may drink at and you may have whatever you desire in the privacy of your own hotel room.-Q: Any other cost we should know about with the event?A: Aside from the Badge Admission for the event itself and the price for a room if you got one. We do want to you let you that the Hotel does tend to put a $250 hold for incidentals on top of your room price that will be refunded after you check out, so please make sure you have the proper funds for that. Other than that, you may want to bring money to spend on Artist Alley.-Q: Did I hear about a Charity Raffle?A: You did! Our raffle goes to support PAWS Chicago. Typically happens at 12:30am.-Q: Can I donate for the raffle?A: YES! Please do! Most of the prizes that are at the raffle are provided by donators.-Q: Can I donate a NFSW item for the raffle?A: If you feel your item comes under NSFW please ask Slate Dane or TommyFox about said item and will approve it or not-Q: Will there be Video games at the event?A: We sadly don't have the capabilities to provide Video Games and TVs there, but most in the past events Gaming Systems and TVs are provided by awesome attendees!-Q: What time does the event start?A: The door opens at 6:30pm CST-Q: How late does the event go for?A: The main event room usually ends by 2 am, however you may continue to party in your room as late as you wish.-Q: Can I suit up at the con and where?A: YES YOU CAN! The only thing is we don't have is a fursuit changing room. If you are only coming for the event and don't have a hotel room try reaching out to friends who have rooms and see about suiting up in their rooms. The convention is not liable for any lost/stolen/damaged items.-Q: Can we barter for our way into the event?A: No, sorry. Attendance must be paid for, so that we can afford to host this event.-Q: When/where will the fursuit photoshoot be?A: 11 pm in the front lobby. That's it for now!
